At this time, in the Broomhill studios, I was experimenting with watercolour on paper, using masking tape to create a graphic image coupled with brushwork. As in a lot of my work I transpose techniques across mediums. In the ceramic works at this time I was exploring the impact of graphic designs on the surface.
